The Design Brief

As The Enthusiast & Co brand was evolving, the founder Ellie, was ready for it to shift away from feeling like a ‘personal brand’ and cement its position as a standalone content and merch brand.

She wanted it to have more of a community experience where people are encouraged to be themselves, be proud of who they are, feel celebrated and understood.

The project aim was to produce a stronger, more cohesive visual identity and website that strengthened the brand and helped increase the reach and customer base of the products, solidifying The Enthusiast & Co as the go-to content and merch brand for fellow enthusiasts.

In Ellie’s Words:

“At the start of 2022, I was super excited by the idea of doing my work but faltered every time it came to posting something or putting my work out there in the world because I felt I'd outgrown the branding I had.

It no longer reflected where I was and was holding me back from getting where I wanted to go to.

Stage left: enter Dom. We went deep into what the business and brand stand for, as well as the kind of aesthetics and visuals that I love, and with this information, Dom came up with pure magic.

The branding I have now is simultaneously applicable and aspirational - it fits exactly where I am whilst also feeling like it explains where I'm going to go.

TL;DR I was already going to ask Dom for her hand in marriage, AND THEN SHE MADE MY GORGE WEBSITE. It's a perfect home for me on the internet (more 'me' than my actual apartment is, tbh.)”
