Squarespace Design Days
A 1-day focused experience to get the Squarespace website support and updates you need without the DIY spirals or tech overwhelm.
You love what you do, but what you don’t like so much? Updating your website.
Sometimes, as much as you’d like to get to it all yourself, as a business owner who’s not about the hustle (or getting into things outside your zone of genius), you just don’t have the time, space, desire, or energy to do all the things on your website to-do list.
As much as you can (or want to) update your own website, it’s kind of the best thing ever to have a designer in your corner who will take the tech stress off your shoulders so you can focus on doing the work you love. Just tell me what updates you need, give me 7-8 hours to work my magic and ta-da - a refreshed website ready to support you next business move.
What can we tackle in a Design Day?
Adding new sections or pages that fit seamlessly with your current website.
Making sure your website looks great on mobile.
Fixing any confusing navigation, broken links or buttons.
Transferring your website from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1
Redesigning select website pages, reformatting blog posts or portfolio work
Updating your branding, images and colours if you’ve recently worked with a photographer or brand designer
Styling a Squarespace website template
Setting up a new sales page for a new service, course, retreat, membership, or workshops.
If something will require more time, I’ll let you know this during our initial call so we can discuss possible options.

A Design Day prep guide tailored to your project
2 hours of post-Design Day edits for minor changes

DESIGNED IN A DAY
A Design Day is perfect for you if:
You want to add new content, services, workshops, or courses to your website.
You have new branding and website copy ready to go, but need a hand putting it all together on your site.
You want a professional to take care of the updates and techy bits while you stay in your zone of genius.
You’ve got a list of website tweaks that keep getting pushed to the bottom of your to-do list, and you’re ready to do something about them!
This might not be right for you if:
You prefer figuring things out on your own and want to DIY your website.
You don’t have a website (yet!), or you’ve got a major redesign in mind - The Catalyst is your better option.
Your website isn’t built on Squarespace.
There are only one or two small tasks you need help with. A Design Day is more effective when you have a solid list of updates needed.

10/10 service and I’ve already spread the word!
“The prep work was extremely well organized, and the overall VIP Day experience was so easeful and professional. You are a dream to work with and a true talent!”
Ghaz Samandari - Coach & Facilitator, COVN Collective

You have transformed my website in such a short time, and I’m so happy with everything you did!
“It was amazing how it could feel so light touch for me, but also like no stone was unturned, from the brilliant questions ahead of the day and swift email responses. You knew exactly what I needed and what to deliver. I felt completely heard and respected on my input, and full of trust for what Dom had planned too. Thank you so much!”
Jen Wright - Slow business mentor at Life, Aligned

The experience has been the definition of 'over-deliver'.
“Above all, it's the peace of mind and ease that I've valued the most: everything happens when she says it's going to happen, in exactly the way we agreed, every detail of the agreement is in writing, no question marks, no loose ends, no flakiness. Can't rave enough and am definitely booking ongoing Design Days into my monthly budget.”
Carmen Spagnola - Clinical Hyponotherapist and Somatic Trauma Recovery Practitioner
The Design Day Process
How we’ll achemise your website to-dos into website ta-das:
-
Submit your Design Day request via the form, letting me if there’s a deadline you’re working towards. I’ll respond within 48 hours with my next availability.
Please keep in mind you’ll need to give yourself enough time to complete all the prep (writing copy, sourcing images etc) before your chosen design day.
Also bear in mind you’ll need to be available to provide feedback as I work through your website priorities.
You can secure your Design Day with a 50% deposit, with the remaining due 24 hours before your chosen date.
-
Once you’ve scheduled your Design Day, you’ll receive an email with instructions for your prep work.
-
It’s time to work on your website priorities and get as much done as we can. We’ll communicate via email, jumping on a Google Meet call if necessary. While this is a collaborative process, this isn’t an in-person offer, so you won’t need to sit at your desk al day!
I’ll work my magic and will check in with you when I need feedback.
-
Once all the updates and changes are done, I’ll pop you an email to confirm if there are any last tweaks you need before I hand the site back over to you.
I’ll be available for the following 5 days via email (excluding weekends and bank holidays) if you have any questions about any of the work done.
Begin by submitting your info via the form.
I’ll be in touch within 24-48 hours to discuss your needs, my available days and officially lock in your Design Day.
Frequently asked questions
-
Nope, but I do ask that you are available to log in and give prompt feedback when needed. The more available you are, the more we can get through. It’s key in a Design Day to make fast, efficient decisions so we can move forward purposefully.
-
Contact me at least 2-3 weeks ahead of when you’d want to work together. I’m more likely to have dates available, and you’ll have plenty of time to gather your content ahead of our day.
-
To reserve your day, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit at contract signing, with the remaining balance due 24 hours before your Design Day. You also have the option to pay the full balance at time of booking.
-
You’ll have to provide your design punch list in priority order. I will begin with the first item on your list and get as far as I can in 8 hours. If we’re working on anything for your website, I’ll need your branding assets (logo, colours, imagery, fonts) and the copy for all pages we’re working on. If you don’t have branding or need copywriting support, let me know and we can discuss potential options.
-
Yes! You’ll receive 7 days of post-Design Day support via Voxer or email, weekends excluded. During this time window, if you need minor changes, I’ve included up to 1 hour of design revisions. Any major changes will require you to book another half or full day.
-
Nope! Squarespace is my preferred platform.
-
Head over to The Catalyst to learn more about working with me in this capacity. Design Days are best for smaller scale work, like creating 1-pager websitess, updating copy and images, or creating new sales page.
-
Because I have select availability for Design Days, I do not offer refunds. Keep in mind that when you reserve that day, I’m saying no to other commitments. If you’re not able to make your scheduled day, you can reschedule one time within 90 days of your original Design Day. Please note you’ll need to provide at least 5 days notice to reschedule. Otherwise, you’ll face a rescheduling fee.
